This was a phrase my children knew well when they were growing up. It was a reminder that a decision made NOW (good or bad) can affect our and others’ lives LATER. At The Redeemer’s School, students know that when I leave their classroom, my ‘goodbye’ will go along with “Make good choices!” – and they are learning to do that!
Our faculty and staff are diligent in modeling encouragement, kindness, and good manners on a daily basis, whether in class, in the hallways, on the playground, or at lunch. Paul admonishes Christians, “Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you (Eph. 4:32).” What a joy it is at TRS to see a little boy cheering for another after the presentation of a report, or to see several students picking up what another has dropped! We are all learning to live as Christ commanded.
