ADRIANNE MANNING

2nd Grade Teacher

WHAT’S YOUR STORY?

I am a teacher at heart, I realized this once I became a mother. I loved teaching my children and watching that excitement grow in them as they began to learn. This inspired me to get my degree at Belhaven University where I majored in Elementary Education. While earning my degree, I enjoyed my adventures as a teacher’s assistant at several Rankin County Schools. Next, I became the Youth Services Supervisor with Central MS Regional Library Systems at Pearl Public Library where I was named 2017 Employee of the Year for Rankin County.

WHY ARE YOU AT THE REDEEMER’S SCHOOL?

Doors have opened in unique places for me to arrive at the Redeemer’s School. I believe that I can do more than just educate children. Through discipline and Grace, I hope to help each child find their own inner confidence.

WHAT’S YOUR HOPE FOR YOUR STUDENTS?

My hope for my students is to give each of them a concrete foundation to build on through the study of scripture that they will have for the rest of their lives.
